The unique PATENTED SHAPE of the Free Heat solar absorber is the secret. Solar radiation travels in parallel lines and for this reason the flat surfaces surrounding each tube will always absorb the available radiation more intensely than any other tube with a round surface. Apart from this exclusive feature, our latest innovation has been to compress the normally round water channel in each tube into an oval shape.

This has the effect of exposing the water travelling through the absorber to a larger, more intense area of radiation. By spreading out the exposed volume of water it enables the heat to transmit much faster to the water. The end result is that your pool will heat up quicker and to a higher temperature.

As the flat surfaces of the tubes absorb up to 19% more incident heat from the suns rays by comparison to the ordinary circular tubed solar absorbers, you can see that there will be a corresponding increase in the heat absorbed by the circulating water in the tubes, thereby increasing the overall efficiency of the Solar Pool Heating unit.

PERFORMANCE

The efficiency of a solar pool heating system is detirmined by a number of factors. Firstly, its location.

Any roof sloping towards the North, N/E - N/W, or even a flat roof that is fully exposed to the sun is ideal. Secondly, the number of square meters of absorber should be around 100% of the pool area, at our Latitudes, to give a comfortable temperature swimming from October until May.

THE FREEHEAT RETURN SENSOR TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER

No other control device could possibly have as many features and yet be so simple to use. . Once turned on, the solar pump circulates water through the Solar system and the sensors monitor the temperature differential. . With the water returning .5 to 1 degree hotter than the pool, the pump will continue until the pool reaches a set temperature on the dial, or insufficient heat difference is measured.

If used in the manual position, the system will even let you cool the pool at night during those hot summer months. . In Auto, all you have to do is set the Temperature dial to the exact temperature you would like, relax and enjoy. . The LED lights will visually tell you what the solar is doing. The casing is all weather, it is powder coated and th eelectronics are insulated from moisture.
